Student Research Presentation Opportunities

Faculty in the Department of Rhetoric and Communication Studies strongly encourage students to take advantage of various venues locally, regionally, and nationally to present their research. Multiple funding opportunities are available at the University of Richmond to help defray costs of student travel off-campus for selected research presentations.

Such opportunities provide uniquely rich experiences for students to meet and engage with leading scholars in their area and develop a cohort of fellow undergraduates with similar research interests who may prove to be life-long links in their intellectual endeavors. Current faculty in the Department of Rhetoric and Communication Studies can attest to ways in which such experiences for undergraduates have proven to be life-altering.
